Paul runs into his mother (Carolyn Conwell) at Gina's. Later, he has lunch with Christine (Lauralee Bell).

Paul is recalling a talk about pregnancy with Nikki when Christine arrives. Does he still want to have a baby with her? He says there's room enough in his heart for Dylan, Heather, memories of Ricky and the baby they planned to have. But his body could reject his new liver and he feels it wouldn't be right to have a child and not to be there for him/her. Christine has to leave for work. Nikki arrives. She tells Paul if she had known that Paul was Dylan's father, she wouldn't have let their baby go.
