Missing and Missed



Doug Davidson is a kind caring man, an Emmy winner and a wonderfully talented actor. He's been loyal to Y&R for 40 years. Y&R's viewers can't accept the disrespectful cowardly way he was treated and the sudden disappearance of chief Williams. To get him back to the show, let's:

  • do a massive mail out for Doug on February 16:  CBS-TV Studios 41 & 43 - 7800 Beverly Boulevard - Los Angeles, CA. 90036. For more information, click here 
  • email yrbb@tvc.cbs.com to ask for Doug Davidson's return.
  • sign the petition: link to the petition
  • on Twitter, tweet as often as you can with the hashtag #bringbackDougDavidson and follow @KeepDoug and @DougFansYR.
  • on Twitter, reply to @YandR_CBS's promo by asking for Doug's return.
  • boycott Sony and let @SteveKentSony know that you boycott Sony.

    Thanks bunches for doing this! We have begun boycotting both Y&R and B&B, Sony is listed as is Aldi (grocery), any advertisers found will be added. I forgot to write them down & now am not watching!
    I've watched Y&R since the beginning, been part of the 30 years at #1 in ratings & feel ignored and unappreciated!
    Doug Davidson IS Genoa City!
    Many other beloved actors have moved to other networks and TPTB shouldn't be willing to lose loyal viewer to other networks! Feb sweeps began today & will run thru Feb 27. Ratings set the rates they charge advertisers for commercials. The reason all shows are delivering their best during this period, with no reruns.
    To simply "let him go" after he remained loyal to lead lines, minimal screen time, an ever marginalized character that couldn't have been much fun to play! When was he last a contact, full time character, with the increased pay received when a character has more than 5 lines? Shameful!
    We remember him as a teenage father, undercover police officer, leading his own private investigation team with Andy Richards (played by Andy Ford), Lauren submitting his nude pic in the sexy husband contest as his Mom lead the anti pornography group, HE TOOK Y&R TO #1 WITH THE CASSANDRA RAWLINS STORYLINE!!!
    I won't time back in until I know he's headed back! I understand there is about a 6 week delay, but Y&R can announce his return & not simply to kill him off! Shameful he wasn't even given a chance onscreen to go visit Dylan!! Simply gone! But never forgotten!!
